An excellent example of the Heuer Camaro reference 73443. The Heuer Camaro is already one of our favourite vintage Heuer models, especially in the guise of the rarer reference 73443.
The Camaro 73443 is a date version of the two-register Camaro 30 (owing to its 30 minute capacity) powered bya manual windValjoux 7734 movement. The 73443 replaced the long running reference 7743 at the end of the Camaro production run and is one of the rarer Camaro references. It is estimated that only1350 examples were produced compared to 6500-7000 examples of the 7220.
This particular example features an attractive case still showcasing the classic sunburst effect on the bezel. Overall its in excellent condition for its age. There are a couple of scratches but for a piece such as the Camaro we think it suits its rugged character! The pushers have been replaced at some point in the past. The dial is in excellent condition, showing a gorgeous light tropical browning of the dial. TheValjoux 7734 movement is in excellent condition having receiveda full service from our watchmaker.
Overall this is an excellent example of an iconic watchthat continuesto find favour among a loyal and growing community of collectors.
