The history behind the IWC Yacht Club
The Yacht Club was created in 1967 as a sportier alternative to the Ingenieur series by the International Watch Company (IWC). Following the Yacht Club'sinstant popularity in 1976, the line expanded into a series of "Club" watches. This 36-mm stainless steel has a beautiful barrel-shaped case, also known as a C-Shaped case. Overall in excellent condition. The dial remains clean and free from damage. The lume plots on the hands and dial match. The case remains exceptionally sharp for its age. The movement is in good order and the watch is fitted with a 3rd party leather strap in fair condition together with a steel IWC buckle.
