38mm may seem a huge watch today but in the 1950's when this watch was new it was huge most watches of the day were still 33mm so this was a real showstopper then and still is today .

The solid 18ct gold case is very well preserved and shows little sign of wear.

The movement is the ultra reliable cal 265 manual winding which dates to c 1950.

The dial has been professionally restored in the past and is in outstanding condition its also worth noting just how few dials have numbers all round the dial as in this example.
