Ok so Rare and special are words often overused when talking about watches but please forgive me in this case .

This solid 18 ct 35 mm Swiss made gold case carries the fabulous and very highly regarded cal 333 Rg movement.Omega referred to the 333, 343 as deluxe execution chronometergrade movements The 343 was used in smaller case sizes and the 333 in the rarer Jumbo or 35 mm cases.

The movement serial number dates this fabulous piece to 1950 although the movement looks like the day it was made

Add to this piece a very highly prized waffle dial and this truly is a dreamwatch

The dial could be professionallycleaned but I have left this as I originally found it although I have fitted a new very soft pig skin taperedstrap
