Forgive me with this description but this is what I do this for ,to find the undescoverable a sixty year old unworn piece ,when this piece became available many Omega collectors discussed its merits but none had actually seen it in the flesh and fully appreciated its uniqueness so let me try to convey it in my clumsy words

The accompanying box is almost unmarked externally and completely pristine internally and on the case rear has the original ticket detailing stock and model number and retail price $175.00 all of these numbers are matched on the two attached tags

The strap is made of Elephant skin not very PC now but nonetheless extremely rare in any condition but try to find one original and completely unworn

Oh yes and the watch well that old thing is breathtaking as the rest of the piece in particular the case back which has the crispest observatory engraving I have ever had the pleasure of viewing

I could continue and break this down into mechanical movement parts and wax lyrical about the scarcity of the cal 504 movement but I think you already know how I feel about this stunning collectors piece .

The keen eyed will always find fault like the slight age mark on the dial but if all you look for is fault then you miss so much pleasure in this hobby
