In order to mark the brand's 100th year of creating timeless watches, the Seamaster was launched in 1948 and is still Omegas longest continuous line to date. To quote Omega, the Seamaster is loosely based on the waterproof wristwatches made for the British military at the end of World War II, the Seamaster was first intended as a robust yet elegant watch for active individuals who wanted a watch for town, sea and country. We love the Seamaster 600, and this watch is no exception!

Fifty-five years on these vintage pieces fit the description of being fit for the active man about town (although we have to add it is not recommended to take vintage watches anywhere near the sea!). This particular example hailing from circa 1966 is fitted with a brand new leather strap and works well everything from a suit to jeans and a t-shirt.

Technical & Condition

Condition:The case on thisOmega Seamaster 600,has been assessed as fair; the case remains sharp, however, fading on the gold-plating can be seen, particular on the lugs. The dial is in excellent condition. The glass is good. The movement is excellent, it's clean and has been recently serviced.Finally, this watch is fitted witha new 3rd-party leather strap.
