The Omega Seamaster chronograph ref 176.007 was among the manufacturers flag ship watches in the early 1970s and was available in solid gold, gold plate or as with this example solid stainless steel. It was also retailed with several dial variations, but this electric blue variant is my personal favourite and one of the harder to find.

The 38mm stainless steel case holds the highly regarded cal 1040 automatic chronograph movement which has returned from our watchmakers fully serviced and is fitted to the original Omega stainless steel bracelet.

The movement serial number confirms year the of manufacture as 1972.
