A lovely example of the 1960's Omega Seamaster de Ville. With its 34.5mm 9k gold case, minimalist dial design and robust calibre 601 movement, this stunning vintage gold watch offers one compelling package!
The Omega Seamaster de Ville has long been one of, if not THE, best selling sub 2k vintage watch we sell. It really does offer it all! Long fans ourselves, there is something about a Seamaster de Ville that just works. It's a watch for those that appreciate timeless elegance but don't feel the need to shout about it. In a sea of boring, me-too modern rocks of watches, its the plucky Seamaster de Ville that will always attract more nods of approval than the former could ever dream of.
This particular example benefits from the added bonus of a solid gold case in place of the more often seen gold/steel variant, adding an extra special feel to an already incredibly watch!
Condition Report:
Exceptionally clean dial with beautifully aged lume plots. The case also remains in good shape with a few scratches and dings as commensurate with its age. The movement is very clean and freshly serviced. Finally, the watch is fitted with a new, third party leather strap. Other straps available on request.
