Great to see nice examples of this iconic watch can still be found although it is getting noticeably harder all the time .

This lovely 145.022 dates to 1969 and is the very last of the modelwith the Speedmaster engraved case back and one of the earliest utilizing the famous manual winding calibre 861 movement .1969 is also right at the start of the historic moon landing period which of course cemented this great watch as the first and only watch worn on the moon.

The watch is in great original condition, the case is in un-refinished condition, the dial is tremendous with gorgeous luminous material and a stunning patina. The watch is fitted to an original 1171 bracelet and comes in its original Omega box

Along with the original movement, dial and hands, the watch benefits from the original Dot Over Ninety (DON) bezel.

This watch is no safe queen its a vintage watch thats been worn and is all the better for that originality
