The 105.012 was the first of the new case design ,a design that is so popular it is largely unchanged even today .it was also the original reference chosen by NASA for all Apollo missions
This particular example is a reference 105.1012-65 and the original papers that confirm the watch was sold in 1967 .
This reference was also noted for the fact it is the last with a double bezel case back
The watch comes complete with the original DON bezel which like so many shows some vintage style but I have left the watch as it came to be rather than fit a later bezel .
The Corfam strap is fitted to a period Omega vintage buckle which completes a great set
